The strength of the idea of metal covers
1969: presented for the first time to a foreign client company
the plastic rosettes with nails combined with the brass, aluminum and stainless steel covers.
The idea is pioneering because it reduces by at least 2/3
the costs of production and installation of the rosette on the door.
Before this new application the rosettes were produced massively,
completely made of metal,
with high incidence of the cost of the raw material,
with high weight and consequent processing costs,
the fixing to the door took place with the screw holes exposed.
The plastic rosette with metal cover is a winning idea
because it significantly reduces:
1- the cost of production rosettes
2- the cost of labor time for installation directly on site:
- the plastic is fixed to the door using nails.
- the sight of the screw cover holes is eliminated.
The idea is liked, the product is appreciated
and found itself, after a short time, used throughout Europe and the Mediterranean area.
Like all winning ideas, this one is copied by the competition in general.
Today the plastic rosette system with metal cover is in common use.
